报告题目:High Performance Catalysts, Adsorbents and Electrocatalysts by Design

报告摘要:

Nanowires and compositionally controlled mixed metal oxides present as potential materials for designing and developing high performance catalysts and adsorbents for several chemical conversion challenges. Nanowires have been shown to provide high performance in applications such as hydro-desulfurization, hydrogenation, hydrogen evolution reaction and CO2 capture, etc. In addition, mixed metal oxides with precise composition have been shown to provide new catalysts for oxygen evolution reaction and dry-reforming reactions. Large scale manufacturing of such new model materials is a challenge for industrial catalysis. Several concepts are proposed for such large-scale manufacturing of the above model catalyst materials (nanowires and mixed metal oxides).
